As many of you may know, our beloved sister hostess SHARON DONOVAN, tragically passed away on 11th April 2012. We who knew her, loved her, and were inspired by her courage and determination to face head on whatever life threw at her. When she could no longer see to paint she turned to writing and showed her amazing talent in the Inspirational Romance and Romantic Suspense genres, and her story 'Charade Of Hearts' was awarded the coveted Predators and Editors Award in January 2011.

This Blog was a source of great delight to her, she was one of the founder hostesses and she contributed to the fun and silliness in her own original way, and was kind enough to let her unique creation, the hunky butler 'Oliver' join us for our Friday romp and prepare 'virtual breakfast' for the guests on the following morning. It's beyond hard to have to go on without her, but we know that she would have been the first to insist that 'the show must go on.' She is, and will always be with us in spirit.
Sharon, dear friend, we will never forget you.
The Author Roast and Toast is part of the legacy you left us. Let's raise a Toast to you as well as all our guests.

A Musical Interlude

Hi folks!  Apologies for an interruption to our usual weekly programme.  There is a lot going on with the hostesses and sadly we have to say goodbye to Vonnie and Creighton as well.  We're going to miss you Vonnie and hope you'll come back to say hello when you can.

Hopefully, we'll be back to our usual schedule in the New Year, but please dear readers and followers, do keep checking, we'll find something to fill this space until we can get back to normal, and our hostesses may find themselves on the grill as well!

. This week The hostessers went to Paris and learned to do the can-can!  Where was Lyn? I hear you ask.  Well, someone had to operate the video camera, didn't they! :)

    I never knew I could dance so well! Vonnie, we will miss you dear sister hostess. And TT will miss Creighton. Take care of him and y'all come back to visit whenever you can. Things won't be the same on the roast without you. But I'm sure that with Lyn directing the activities, there'll be plenty going on around here after the holidays. Looking forward to a fun new year.
